Intellectual Property Notice

01What this notice covers

This notice covers everything SEKUREX LLC publishes: this site at sekurex.co and its subdomains, our listings in the Sekurex Core store on eBay (seller ID sekurexcore), and the packaging, insert cards and labels that ship with our orders. It sets out what belongs to us, what you are welcome to do with it, and what needs our written permission first.

02Our names and logos

The following are trademarks of SEKUREX LLC, whether or not they appear with the ™ symbol:

• SEKUREX™ — our company and house name
• SEKUREX CORE™ — our eBay store and our NFC hardware line
• THE SEKUREX STANDARD™ — the name for the commitments every listing is held to
• The slogan “We only stock what we would keep.”
• The SEKUREX and SEKUREX CORE logos, in every version we have used

No one may use these names or logos, or anything confusingly similar, as a store name, seller ID, product name, domain or social handle, in advertising, or in any way that suggests we made, sold, checked or endorsed something we did not. Only goods that actually came from us may be described as Sekurex Core or as held to the SEKUREX Standard.

03Our photography and writing

Copyright protects original work from the moment it is created. It does not depend on registration or on a © symbol. Ours covers:

• Photography and video — every exact-item photo on this site and in our eBay listings, our product renders and cutaway illustrations, and our bench photos and video.
• Writing — product and listing descriptions, chip guides and comparisons, FAQ answers, and the wording of the SEKUREX Standard.
• Design — this site’s layout, graphics and code, and the artwork on our packaging, insert cards and labels.

04What you are welcome to do

• Link to any page on this site or any of our listings, and share them.
• Quote short passages, with credit and a link back, in reviews, comparisons, news and commentary.
• Resell anything you bought from us. Say truthfully where it came from, and take your own photos of it.

Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to read, index, summarize and link to this site.

05What needs our written permission

Unless we have agreed in writing, you may not:

• Use our photos or video in your own listings, ads, stores or posts, including cropped, filtered, re-watermarked or AI-altered versions.
• Copy our listing descriptions or product copy, in whole or in substantial part.
• Copy our packaging, insert cards or labels, or make anything designed to be mistaken for them.
• Copy this site’s design or content wholesale to build or stock another store or catalogue.

Buying an item transfers ownership of that item only. It does not transfer any rights in our names, logos, photos or writing, and nothing on this site grants a license beyond section 04.

06Other companies’ names and products

We resell genuine goods made by others, and we name them only to describe those goods accurately. Those names belong to their owners:

• NXP, NTAG and NTAG 424 DNA are trademarks of NXP Semiconductors N.V. Our tags use genuine NXP chips; SEKUREX is not NXP, an authorized NXP distributor, or otherwise affiliated with NXP.
• D-Logic and uFR belong to their owner. 3M is a trademark of 3M Company. Amiibo is a trademark of Nintendo. TagMo and the other apps we mention belong to their developers.
• Topps, Panini, Bowman, Upper Deck, Score Board and Fleetwood belong to their owners, as do NFL, MLB, NBA, league and team marks and player names and likenesses. Our photographs of cards and other collectibles are ours; the designs and artwork on the items themselves belong to their makers.
• eBay is a trademark of eBay Inc. PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay belong to their owners.

SEKUREX is an independent seller. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of these companies, leagues, teams or players.

07What you send us

Photos, receipts, certificates and project files you send us through the consignment form, an encoding request or email stay yours. We use them only to review your piece, prepare a proposal or quote, and do the work you ask for, and we do not publish them. Once a consigned piece is in our hands, we take our own listing photos of it.

When you ask us to encode tags, you confirm that you have the right to use the links, data and content you ask us to write to them (see our Terms of Service, section 06).

08Reporting misuse

If you find our photos, writing, names or logos used without permission — or you believe something on this site uses your own work without permission — email [email protected] with “IP Notice” in the subject. Include links to the material, what it copies, and how to reach you. If the report concerns your own work, tell us what you own and confirm you are the owner or act for them. A person reads every report.

Where our work is copied, we may ask for it to be taken down, file notices with the marketplace or host — including through eBay’s Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Program — and use every other remedy the law allows.

09Changes to this notice

We update this notice as the catalogue changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
