Privacy Policy

01What we collect

This policy covers sekurex.co and its subdomains (the “Site”), operated by SEKUREX LLC. The Site has no accounts, logins or checkout. We only collect what you choose to send us:

• Encoding requests (the form on the NFC page, or through the chat) — your email address, your project details, and your chip and quantity choices.
• Consignment and sell-to-us submissions — your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number; the piece’s name, category, condition, asking price or reserve and description; your notes on proof; and up to six files you attach, such as photos, receipts or certificates. Photos are resized on your device before upload.
• Chat messages — what you type into the chat assistant.
• Email — whatever you send when you write to us.

When you submit either form we also record a country code derived from your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string, used only to keep out spam and abuse. We do not store your IP address itself.

02How we use it

Only to answer you: to reply to your question, quote encoding work, review a piece and send you a proposal, and complete whatever you then agree to. We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your personal information.

03The chat assistant

Each message you send in the chat goes to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a reply. We do not store chat conversations on our servers. The conversation is kept in your browser tab’s session storage so it survives moving between pages, and it clears when you close the tab. If you ask the chat to pass on an encoding request, it is handled like the encoding form above.

04Where it goes

Form submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, and consignment files in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Files are never published; we open them only through links that expire. A notification email with your submission is sent to our inbox. The service providers that process this information for us are:

• Cloudflare — hosting and security for the Site, the database and file storage, the AI model behind the chat, and the email delivery that sends submissions to our inbox.
• Google (Gmail) — the inbox where we read and answer your messages.
• impact.com — an affiliate-program measurement tag loads on the home page and may set its own identifiers. It receives no form or chat data.
• eBay — if you buy from us, that transaction happens on eBay under eBay’s own privacy notice.

The Site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the Site from abuse.

05How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and consignment files for up to 24 months from the date of submission, then delete them, unless we need a record for longer to complete a sale or consignment you agreed to, or the law requires it. Email correspondence follows our mailbox provider’s retention until we delete it.

06Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete the information and files you sent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. EU/UK visitors: the legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in answering the request you sent us, and taking steps you ask for before entering into an agreement; you may object or request erasure at the address above.

07Changes

We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted on this page.
